Earlier in the week, it looked like the status of San Francisco 49ers superstar wide receiver Deebo Samuel was a little bit in question. But as we head into the game on Sunday, it looks like he’s going to play, and it doesn’t sound like he expects to be very limited, either.

During a press conference this week, Deebo Samuel made it clear that he will be full-go during Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Detroit Lions, saying that he “ain’t protecting nothing” as he heads into the game.

“Right when I figured out it wasn’t the same thing as the Browns game, it was kind of a relief to know it wasn’t a fracture,” Samuel said according to NFL.com. “It was just like a deep bruise or whatever. But I’m talking about timeless hours in here, day in and day out, just to get where we’re at right now.”

Obviously, this is a big bit of news for the 49ers are Samuel has been without doubt their top receiver throughout the season and their offense has not looked anywhere near as explosive whenever Samuel was not in the lineup throughout the season.

We’ll have to see how Samuel performs on Sunday.
