During the second quarter of the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs playoff game on Saturday, Danny Amendola received a well deserved personal foul for a ridiculous hit on Jamell Fleming. You can see from the replay that Amendola launched himself at the punt returner (who was defenseless), and nailed him with his shoulder and part of the helmet. We have no clue how he wasn’t ejected.
The more you watch the replay, the more you will be very confused how Amendola was allowed to continue playing. At the time of the play the Patriots were leading the Chiefs by a score of 7-3 in the second quarter.
