Typically, Dallas Cowboys fans fill the bleachers to watch the team practice during spring training. But that is certainly not the case this year as the stands are far more empty than they have been in the past.
This week, Mike Leslie of WFAA posted a photo of the bleachers at Dallas Cowboys training camp and the crowd was embarrassingly small compared to previous seasons.
“Cowboys fans are out on this franchise more than I can ever remember. The attendance so far at camp is WAY down,” Leslie said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

The Cowboys have obviously not lived up to expectations in recent seasons, particularly in the playoffs. Though the Cowboys have finished with a 12-5 regular season record in each of the last three seasons under Mike McCarthy, they have only won one playoff game during that time.
Given this lack of attendance at training camp, it’s pretty clear that the Cowboys are losing the support of their fanbase. We’ll have to see if the team can win back some of those fans this upcoming season with a strong performance and a lengthy postseason run.
Clearly, people are discontent.
