The Dallas Cowboys have not made significant efforts to sign star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to a new contract as he heads into the final season of his rookie season. As a result, it sounds like Lamb has no interest in participating in the team’s voluntary offseason program that begins this week.

According to a report from Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, CeeDee Lamb will not be taking part in the team’s voluntary offseason program that began on Monday as he is not pleased with the lack of negotiations regarding a potential contract extension.

“WR CeeDee Lamb is not participating in the Cowboys offseason program. Per a source with knowledge of the negotiations or lack there of on a contract extension, ‘why would he'” Hill said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is a pretty significant decision from Lamb that points to what appears to be a little bit of discontent with the Cowboys, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not Lamb will decide to hold out from the team’s mandatory minicamp that begins in early June.
