Cliff Harris can outrun pretty much anything, but he can’t seem to outrun the law. The former Oregon speedster was arrested last week on marijuana possession charges in New Jersey which led to his release from the New York Jets. Well, less then a week later Cliff has managed to get arrested again.
According to Portland TV station KGW, Harris was arrested for domestic harassment after witnesses say he pushed his girlfriend at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
Harris was arrested at 10:05 p.m. after he was seen and heard arguing with his girlfriend in the restaurant, said Lt. Henry Reimann with the Hillsboro Police Department.
Harris and his girlfriend went out to the parking lot where Harris was reportedly seen pushing her around, Reimann said.
Harris’ girlfriend did not press charges. The arrest was based on what witnesses saw. Harris was then bailed out of jail. He has a court date Tuesday morning.
Harris has a ridiculous rap sheet which includes the “we smoked it all” traffic stop in 2011.
