Travis Kelce has had his fame shoot up in a major way since his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift went public. But unfortunately, that’s not always a positive thing in terms of how much privacy he is able to maintain.
On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, The Chiefs star detailed that he moved from his old residential home after having his address leaked, a situation that even made him cancel his mail service to his house with how much he received from fans.
“The one thing you don’t realize when somebody posts your house online, that everybody now has your address, and people just send stuff to your house, so I literally stopped getting mail to my house,” said Kelce. “I had to literally tell the post office and everybody to stop bringing stuff to my house.”
Perhaps even worse for Kelce is that this attempt didn’t even fully work in an effort to keep some of his private life out of the public eye.
Jason Kelce then revealed on the podcast episode that even after moving, Kelce had a fan come up to the window of his new home, which is in a gated community, to attempt to meet the NFL star.
“The first day he moved into the new house, a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house,” Jason Kelce added.
As big as Kelce was before starting his relationship with Taylor Swift, which was pretty big in terms of the average NFL player, this likely never would have happened to him.
But dating Taylor Swift attracts a whole different kind of fanbase. And that isn’t always a good thing…
