The Kansas City Chiefs have built a dynasty in recent years after back-to-back Super Bowl championships in each of the last two seasons. But on Sunday, Tom Brady called out the team’s fanbase during his Netflix comedy special, The Roast of Tom Brady.
Brady was on the receiving end of many jokes throughout the night. But at the end of the event, he took the stage and began to dish out his own roasts.
The Chiefs found themselves on the receiving end of this, as Brady called out the claim that the Chiefs have the loudest stadium in all of football.
“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest? It helps when your fans are 14-year-old girls,” said Brady.
This joke is of course referring to the fans that the Chiefs have gained after pop icon Taylor Swift made her relationship public with star tight end Travis Kelce.
Brady then got a bit more personal about the Chiefs team history, saying that the organization had been “bad for 50 years” before Patrick Mahomes got to town.
“And in honor of Tay-Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ Era’s,” said Brady. “Terrible for 50 years, good for five (years). Shake it off.”

To be fair to Chiefs fans, their fanbase did hold the record for the loudest stadium in football before “Swifties” even came into the picture this past season. So Brady’s criticism there may not exactly be the most accurate.
Regardless, it’s hard to argue with Brady’s criticism of the team’s history, especially when you consider he has a 3-0 record against the organization in the postseason in his career.
