Plenty of Seattle Seahawks players, including linebacker Bruce Irvin and tight end Jimmy Graham, are currently in Hawaii as a part of Russell Wilson’s offseason camp/bonding session.
The opportunity allowed Irvin and Graham to “settle” an old score.
Back in January of 2014, Graham and Irvin got into a confrontation because Graham, who was a New Orleans Saints player at the time, started warming up in Seattle’s practice area according to Irvin.
“Actually, he was warming up in our area,” Irvin said, “and I asked him to move, and he said, ‘I’m Jimmy.’ So I knocked the ball out of his hand and I kicked it across the field. So that’s how it started. That’s how it started.”
The pair’s clash carried over to this offseason. On learning that Graham was going to be traded to the Seahawks, Irvin Tweeted out this gem proving that the altercation had not been forgotten.

The island setting proved to be as good a setting as any for the showdown between the two rivals-turned-teammates and Irvin posted a picture of the “fight” on his Instagram.
In all honestly, it’s nice to see that the two could find a humorous way to settle their beef. And at least the picture looks slightly less contrived than, say, the infamous photo of Mike D’Antoni, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. Now, back to Russell Wilson and his dad jeans.
