The Kansas City Chiefs met the Cincinnati Bengals in Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday in what has quickly become one of the league’s marquee rivalries. The Chiefs escaped the bout with a victory, nailing the game-winning field goal as time expired.
Cheering on the Chiefs was the wife of star quarterback, Brittany Mahomes. Brittany came to the game with her and Patrick’s two children, Sterling and Bronze.
Fans’ attention was glued to Brittany and tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, popstar Taylor Swift throughout the contest. The pair sat in different suites in the first game of the season, with many guessing the separation was due to fallout from Brittany’s apparent support for Donald Trump.
Regardless of how Swift feels about the Mahomes family’s political leanings, Brittany refuses to be intimidated. She posted several photos from the sidelines on Instagram with the caption “🖤gamedays🤍.”
Mahomes let it be known that she will be present on gameday to support her husband regardless of outside noise or the backlash from her Donald Trump support.
Swift and Brittany were in different suites once again on Sunday, but it’s pretty clear that there’s no drama between the two. Both were present at the US Open in New York and appeared to enjoy each other’s company as they took in the action with their significant others.
The Chief’s next game is September 22 against the Atlanta Falcons.
