The game between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets will not be played on Sunday due to the shit ton of snow that is currently blanketing Buffalo.
As such, the Bills left a number for fans to call with any questions regarding the game moving to Monday in Detroit. However, there was one huge problem – the Bills gave people the wrong number.
Fans who called in with questions about the rescheduled game were greeted by a domestic violence hotline in Ohio.
Information on the Bills Website instructs ticket holders to call 1-877-228-4357.
But that’s actually the phone number for a domestic violence crisis center in Ohio, which has been receiving a barrage of calls from Bills fans.
According to Deadspin, the Bills kept the incorrect information up for about 17 hours before correcting the error. The actual number to call if you have questions about tickets to the cancelled Bills-Jets game in Buffalo is 1-877-228-4257. What a difference a digit makes.
