The very public relationship between pop sensation Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has caused quite a buzz around both the entertainment world and the sports world. It’s also led to quite a lot of rather ridiculous theories about their relationship. And Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was asked about one of them this week.
During his press conference this week ahead of the team’s Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, a German reporter asked Andy Reid about conspiracy theories that the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift was concocted to help Joe Biden get re-elected against Donald Trump.
“That’s way out of my league,” Reid said with a laugh. “Very similar to you speaking German.”

“I appreciate your question. She’s been great. And we had a nice visit with President Biden [after winning the Super Bowl last year],” Reid said. “But that’s about as far as I can go.”
It’s not clear where exactly this conspiracy theory originated or who actually believes it. But apparently, it’s a theory that’s spread white enough that a German reporter felt the need to ask Reid about it ahead of the Super Bowl.
