Well, if anyone was undecided about joining the Wisconsin Badgers, this clip should really help them with their decision.
Although he graduated from Marquette University, Farley was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, so it’s not surprising that Farley agreed to make this “recruitment video” for the Badgers.
In the above clip, Farley plays one of his most famous Saturday Night Live characters, Matt Foley as he urges recruits to pick the Badgers or face the prospect of “eating government cheese and living in a van down by the river!”
If, for some reason, you’ve been deprived of Farley’s Foley, here’s one of his character’s most memorable sketches. If you can stop yourself from laughing, you’re better at keeping a straight face than David Spade (or myself for that matter).
