It was rumored for a while back in July that the University of Washington was getting a round of HydroChrome Gold helmets, and the below picture was what they allegedly looked like.
The rumor mill died down for a while following that leak, but it is back up and running now as a batch of those helmets was seen in production over by the folks at Hydro Graphics Inc. They posted the below image to their facebook page, and all we can say is that they are extremely shiny. The only question remains is when will these helmets see the football field?
