The University of the Sciences, a Philly school with a minuscule enrollment of 2,700 total undergrads and graduate students, somehow managed to defeat Drexel in men’s basketball on Thursday night. The program with a name that sounds like another college destination for Jesus Shuttlesworth in “He Got Game” alongside the likes of Big State and Tech U wandered down the street to Drexel and defeated the Dragons 54-52 on a last-second 3-pointer.
As pointed out by SB Nation, entering play on Thursday night, Division-I teams were 226-0 at home vs. non-Division-I teams this season. Thanks to the University of the Sciences, they now have one notch in their favor.
