Texas A&M catcher Michael Barash has likely spent thousands of innings behind the plate during his baseball career. It’s unlikely he’s ever had a mask explode.
During the second inning of the Game 2 of the Aggies’ Super Regional series against TCU, Barash’s mask was demolished by a foul ball.
Watch as the ball smoked him in the top of the mask and sends pieces flying in every direction.
