The Stanford Cardinal have landed #1 QB recruit Keller Chryst from the surrounding area of (Palo Alto High School) Palo Alto, California. Currently, Chryst is the No. 21 recruit on ESPN’s list of top 300 and has received plenty of attention from programs such as USC, Alabama and Arizona State. Standing at the perfect size of 6-4, 220 pounds this youngster will join in a long line of great QBs to play for Stanford (John Elway and Andrew Luck). Next Impulse wishes this kid best of luck and a great senior football season.
Junior Statistics: 134/265, 2,489 yards passing, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions
Chryst is an extremely polished and well-groomed pocket passer with the size, arm strength and poise to become a premier passer at the next level. Looks to be a player capable of playing early if called upon. The son of a coach — his dad, Geep, is the QB coach of the San Francisco 49ers — and it shows.
