The Northwestern and Purdue basketball teams squared off on Tuesday night, but the actual game was a very far second on everyone’s mind. Earlier in the day a gunman shot and murdered a 21-year-old Purdue student (Andrew Boldt) on campus. Obviously words and even gestures do very little to console those affected by such a tragedy, but a group of Northwestern fans did what they could to show their support.
The gesture may be small, but it is fantastic.
