Ohio State doesn’t open their season until Monday but a couple Buckeyes enjoyed themselves during college football’s opening night. Running back Ezekiel Elliott and receiver Mike Thomas took to Twitter on Thursday to troll rival Michigan, who fell to Utah in an ugly game.
First it was Thomas who responded to fan’s curiosity with this witty response:
And Elliott’s tweet came after Wolverines’ quarterback Jake Rudock’s fourth quarter inception was returned for a 55-yard touchdown that sealed the Utes’ victory:
The Buckeyes play at Virginia Tech on Monday and won’t meet Michigan until the final game of the regular season on November 28th in Ann Arbor.
