Mike Leach is rarely one to mince words and the Washington State head coach showed some of his charm during ESPN’s Pac-12 media rounds this week. The former Texas Tech coach has been lauded for his offensive system but routinely blasted for player treatment and questionable remarks.
Although most of the dust surrounding Leach has settled over the last year, it appears he still boasts the same blunt personality, as evidenced by an interesting comment to an ESPN staffer this week:
Mike Leach sees woman at ESPN wearing eye patch for medical reasons. Leach: “Oh, you got the pirate thing going on?”
