Things got a little weird for a moment during Monday night’s Iowa State-West Virginia game.
Iowa State star Georges Niang nonchalantly grabbed West Virgina’s Tarik Phillip by the groin while walking past him. Unfortunately for Niang, the ref noticed and gave him a technical foul for touching areas that should not be touched during a game.

The best part of all this is Niang’s ironic nomination for a CLASS award, which is give to a senior athlete “who excels on and off the court in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.” Awkward.
West Virginia went on to win 97-87.
