We see unfortunate examples of automated technology rearing its ugly head quite often but it appears that things have gone overboard. In a story that could not be fabricated in one’s wildest dreams, Jerry Sandusky may have received a letter from Penn State asking him to renew his season tickets.
Included in the letter is the following:
You have worked diligently to separate yourself by exhibiting unrivaled tenacity, character and loyalty. Passionate and competitive, you are the leading standard of a first class fan base.
Onward State obtained images of the envelope and letter from documentary filmmaker John Ziegler, but it remains unclear how Ziegler acquired them:
