DePaul is in the midst of another less-than-thrilling season, one that will ensure they don’t reach the NCAA Tournament for the 11th straight season, but at least their bench celebration game is superior to the competition. The Oliver Purnell-led Blue Demons have not won 20 game since the 2006-07 season, play in an arena 1,000 miles from campus and have all but fallen off the college basketball map following a couple decent stretches in the 90’s and early 2000’s. However, their bench players are beauties.
After a deep 3-point bucket in a 6-point loss to Georgetown on Tuesday, their bench put on their sailing hats and rowed in search of enemy forces:
