Washington State at University of Southern California
USC is coming off a less than dominant performance in their week 1 victory against Hawaii, and the win featured two VERY less than dominant quarterback performances from the men of Troy. The quarterback by competition option which Lane Kiffin felt was smart seemed to backfire as both quarterbacks looked like they hadn’t practiced with the first team offense enough. Washington State is coming off a tough loss to Auburn and they can smell blood in the water. The Trojans’ offense will be bolstered by the possible return of Silas Redd to the backfield, but will it be enough to carry the load which Cody Kessler or Max Wittek seem to neither want.
