In case you missed it Thursday night, the Oklahoma Sooners actually showed up for their BCS bowl game, and did so at the expense of the Alabama Crimson Tide, who had been relegated to a regular ol’ BCS bowl after Auburn did this to them in the Iron Bowl. Oklahoma dominated the entire game, but Alabama made things interesting late, pulling within seven and forcing a Sooner punt that set them up for a potential game-tying (or game-winning) drive. Alas, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron fumbled deep in his own territory, and the ball was scooped up and returned for a touchdown, sealing the Tide’s fate — a 45-31 loss.
The fumble/touchdown return led to some great reactions from stunned Alabama fans, but they’d already spent the entire game agonizing over what was supposed to be a breezy victory. We’ll start at halftime, when Oklahoma led 31-17:
Woooooow!
Don’t look directly at the score — it might all go away…
…keep looking away…
…SHIT! It’s not going away.
[KeithJackson]”FUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLE”[/KeithJackson]
Shock.

Meanwhile…
…and BOOM goes the ESPN set
