This week, Coastal Carolina became the latest school in college football to install a non-green turf field, which will be used for games starting next season. The Chanticleers’ new field is teal, which isn’t so much of a diversion from a regular green field that it will burn your retinas while watching a game, so that’s nice.
Here’s a snapshot of the new look:
Trying to pull off the non-green turf look (if you’re not Boise State) is a tough task – just ask Central Arkansas – but Coastal did a pretty decent job in the execution here.
