Auburn fans are not prepared to let Alabama live down the Crimson Tide’s epic demise in this year’s Iron Bowl, a loss that cost ‘Bama a shot at the title and, ultimately, helped send the Tigers to the BCS Championship.
Apple CEO and Auburn grad Tim Cook received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the university this past weekend, and he just couldn’t resist twisting the dagger for ‘Bama fans during his acceptance speech.
“I’m going to make my comments brief but I may ask for one extra second at the end because we all know how much of a difference that can make.”
Ouch. That sound you’re hearing right now is a million Crimson Tide fans chucking their iPhones out the window in disgust.
