With the help of Foot Locker and Under Armour, Kenny Mayne orchestrated a special three-point competition for Golden State Warriors’ three-point shooting god Stephen Curry.
Mayne was able to secure some tough competition for Steph. Robert Horry, best known for ripping the heart out of Sacramento Kings fans, Tim Legler, Steph’s father Dell Curry and ten year old Jaden Newman each took their turn at trying to beat Steph in a three-point shootout.
While Curry dispatched Horry, Legler and his dad, Curry would lose his contest to Jaden by a score of 16-15 (with the caveat that Jaden was shooting from the high school three-point line). Adding insult to injury, he also had to sign a form which excused Jaden from class as well.
Of course, Jaden’s proficiency isn’t exactly surprising. The girl has been turning heads and inspiring mixtapes online for awhile now.
