DeMarcus Cousins was absolutely demolishing the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night. The Kings big man had 32 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists, but it ended up being all for naught thanks to Tyson Chandler, who wiped out Boogie’s performance with a single fraudulent move. Late in the fourth quarter and with the score tied, Cousins was fighting for position down low, presumably to receive the ball and punk Dallas for his 33rd and 34th points on the night. The ball didn’t even make it inside thanks to Chandler pulling off an acting performance that even the floppiest of European soccer floppers would approve of.
Unfortunately, the offensive foul was Boogie’s sixth of the game, and he was forced to watch the final possession of regulation and overtime from the bench. The Mavs eventually won, 108-104, even though it’ll probably cost Chandler some couch money come Wednesday morning.
Tyson Chandler just paid $5000 to win a game basically.
