Philadelphia 76ers center Spencer Hawes has been participating in the Jamal Crawford Pro-Am tournament this summer, and on Saturday, the big man had an absurdly high scoring output. Hawes went 19/30 from the field and 18/22 from the line, en route to a 58-point outing, making him the summer scoring champion for NBA players (according to Ballislife West).
Unfortunately for Mr. Hawes, a guy by the name of Kevin Durant is playing this afternoon in the same tournament, which means there’s a good chance that record doesn’t last long. Speaking of Durant and Jamal Crawford, uhhhhh…BRB.
