The NBA Finals don’t start for six more days, so to help pass the time, here is a fifteen minute clip of every buzzer beater from the 2014-15 NBA season. My personal favorites:
1. Lance Stephenson: this bank shot buzzer beater was his first three-point make of the season. It occurred one week into the season, and he went on to hit only 17 the rest of the way (on 105 attempts). Ouch.
2. Anthony Davis: he made only one three all season (on 12 attempts), but he sure as hell made it count. His buzzer beater over the outstretched arms of Kevin Durant gave the Pelicans a much-needed tiebreaker over the Oklahoma City Thunder. With identical records heading into the last day of the season, that tiebreaker knocked the Thunder out of the playoffs.
3. Every buzzer beater against the Suns: They just couldn’t catch a break all year.
