Folks throughout the regular season (at least the first half of it) questioned Paul Pierce and Garnett being washed up in Brooklyn, and they were all wrong. Check out this video which has Paul Pierce mic’d up during the Nets win over the Raptors in game one of their first playoff series. The specific play came down the stretch as Paul nailed a jumper, effectively putting the game out of reach. He followed it up with a simple “that’s why they got me here.”
