The Golden State Warriors recently hired former NBA passing wizard Steve Nash to be a part-time player development consultant for the team.
ESPN sources say two-time MVP Steve Nash finalizing agreement with Golden State to join Warriors as part-time player development consultant
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) September 15, 2015
Warriors coach Steve Kerr was Nash’s general manager from 2007 to 2010 when both were employed by the Suns, so the hiring makes sense given the two’s shared background in Pheonix. Now, Nash will help develop the Warriors’ players and Stephen Curry couldn’t be happier.
Steph took to Instagram to celebrate the hiring and take a joking shot at his head coach as well.
Simple, yet brutally hilarious shade. Steph just keeps on winning, even during the NBA offseason.
