Sunday night’s NBA slate featured a hotly contested match-up between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder, and as the game tightened late, Nuggets mascot Rocky attempted a couple no-look half-court shots during breaks in the action. Apparently, such mascot shenanigans don’t sit well with Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, who took a page from Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, corralling the ball on the way down each time. Naturally, the Mile High City faithful were none too pleased (as evident by this reaction). However, they were very likely pleased with the outcome — a 121-118 overtime victory.
