As of this afternoon, Roy Hibbert was shooting a woeful zero percent from three-point range this season (0-for-1, officially). Of course, as a seven footer who doesn’t stray far from the basket, that’s to be expected. That all changed this evening when the big fella launched this off-balance buzzer beater at the end of the first quarter, pushing his season average to a much more respectable 50%.
In a related story, the first quarter score between Indiana and New York was 19-14, because the Eastern Conference is allergic to offense — and, in the case of the Knicks, allergic to defense as well.
