Quicken Loans Arena may have been rocking over the past few NBA Finals games but the roars of Cavs fans apparently had little to no effect on NBA breakout star Riley Curry.
The young and adorable Curry apparently slept through the first half of both Games 3 & 4 according to Riley’s mom Ayesha, who couldn’t help but throw in a very subtle (but undeniable) jab at Cavs fans for not being loud enough to wake a sleeping small child in an Instagram post. Her caption was hilarious:
Nothing like #roaracle arena!!! Riley slept through the entire first half both nights here in Cleveland! Can’t wait to get back home to the bay!!! #2moretogo We bring the noise in the bay.
I’m not sure if there is a more brilliant way to throw adorable shade than this example right here.
However, to be fair to Cleveland and all Cavs fans out there, small children can sleep through pretty much anything (paradoxically, they also wake up at the slightest rustle).
