By now, you’re probably aware of Paul George’s gruesome, season-ending injury suffered in the Team USA scrimmage Friday night. In the aftermath of George’s injury, concern, well wishes and the outpouring of emotion weren’t just relegated to social media. Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski visited George in the hospital Saturday, where the Pacers’ star is expected to stay for a few days before being flying back to Indiana for intensive rehab. The embrace the two shared is indicative of the close-knit program Coach K and USA Basketball director Jerry Colangelo have built over the past ten years.
