Making a half-court basketball shot is awesome, and it’s especially awesome when making a half-court shot wins you a lot of money. A Phoenix Suns fan was lucky/skilled enough to experience that on Friday night during the second quarter of the Suns-Knicks game at US Airways Center, as he drilled a half-court shot to win $77,777.
The Suns players and mascot were as about as excited as the fan was for making the $77,000 shot, and immediately gave him some celebratory high-fives (and even a chest-bump from Suns guard Gerald Green).
