Seth Davis should be suspended from announcing games until he watches “Space Jam” three times in a row without breaks in between, because this is unacceptable.
In fact, it’s unacceptable for anyone to not have seen “Space Jam,” so if you haven’t, stop reading this and go watch it. Seriously, like right now.
Anyway, Davis was announcing the Ohio State-Northwestern game Wednesday night when he made an absolutely terrible mistake. He attempted to reference “Space Jam” by saying Northwestern’s Bryant McIntosh had his talents stolen by the aliens in the movie because he was having an off night. Now, this would’ve been a kind of funny reference if he didn’t say KEVIN DURANT was in the movie. KEVIN DURANT!?

Durant was eight years old when the movie came out in 1996. As if that wasn’t already bad enough, Davis also wrongly stated that Shaq was in the movie. No, that was “Kazaam,” and damn it that movie was garbage.
Come on, Seth. Be better.
