Nick “Swaggy P” Young is known for many things but a lack of swagger isn’t one of them.
The Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard recently returned to the Lakers lineup from injury and the Lakers have since gone on a two game winning streak.
Coincidence? Of course not, says Swaggy P.
“It’s all about my swag. That’s the part of my repertoire. I’m talking about how I just walk off. I leave a presence when I walk off. I’m like Michael Jackson, Prince…all of them other guys.”
“All of them other guys” presumably refers to every singer or entertainer who has ever displayed an once of swag in their lives.
Jordan Hill was having none of it though. Upon hearing Nick Young invoke Michael Jackson as a comparable entertainer, Hill made sure to bring Young back down to earth.
“You ain’t do nothing.”
Nick would go on to credit the entire team for the two game winning streak (yes, we’re at the point where a two game winning streak counts as a huge accomplishment for the Lakers).
In two games played so far this season, Young is averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and (hilariously enough) zero assists per game on 48% shooting.
