New Jersey Governor Chris Christie spoke on the day of the last New Jersey Nets game in his state, and his feelings were not hidden. It seems the Governor has a slight case of sour grapes as he made it very clear that he didn’t wish the Nets too much success in Brooklyn. The 35-year run for the Nets in new Jersey is up, and it seems the Governor is ready to move on.
Christie said in no uncertain terms:
“My message to the Nets is goodbye, You don’t want to stay here, we don’t want you. I’m not going to be in the business of begging people to stay here.”
