NBA TV is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the greatest basketball team ever assembled, the 1992 “Dream Team,” with a documentary produced, written and directed by Ed Burns. The documentary will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of what it was like to work with, be around, and from the players themselves, be on the team the team that had 11 Hall of Famers and three Hall of Fame coaches.
The film features exclusive one-on-one interviews of all of the members on the iconic USA Basketball team that took Barcelona by storm in the 1992 olympics. It will also feature extremely rare footage from the USA Basketball’s film library of the team’s only loss. But what I am most looking forward to is “the story of the greatest game never seen” when Magic and Jordan went one-on-one at a practice in Monte Carlo.
What will surely be a sports documentary for the ages, you do not want to miss this. NBA TV’s “The Dream Team” will air on Wednesday, June 13, at 9 p.m. ET.
