Metta World Peace — the artist formerly known as Ron Artest — is currently playing basketball in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league for the Killer 3s.
And just over a minute into Friday night’s Killer 3s game against the Trilogy, World Peace was ejected after punting a ball into the crowd at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Now, the three-on-three league is as much about fun and show, so punting a basketball and then taking a selfie with fans is fine. Yes, he took a selfie on the way on the way to the locker room after getting ejected:
Can Metta kick it? Yes, he can. pic.twitter.com/JGEzGnC2Ad

The Trilogy went on to win the game 52-39, led by Al Harrington’s 19 points.
