On Thursday, Markieff Morris’s tenure as a member of the Phoenix Suns mercifully came to an end as the team agreed to trade Morris to the Washington Wizards.
According to ESPN, the Suns will receive Kirs Humphries, DeJuan Blair and a protected first-round pick for Morris.
Poetically, Morris’s exit from the Suns’ facility ended up being a fairly accurate representation of his time with Phoenix, which included a trade demand over the offseason, and an in-game shoving match with then-teammate Archie Goodwin.

Hopefully, a change in venue will lead to smoother roads ahead (both figuratively and literally) for the talented forward.
The NBA trade deadline may have been fairly boring this year but this more than makes up for it. This is art.
