Remember when the Phoenix Suns traded Marcus Morris and a couple other bench guys to the Detroit Pistons for a 2020 second round draft pick? Neither do I, but Morris sure does.
The Suns played a home game against the Pistons, and the younger Morris twin went off for 20 points and two three-pointers. And during the postgame interview, he threw some major shade at the Suns organization and its fans.
All things considered, everything really worked out for Morris. He’s thriving in a four-out system under Stan Van Gundy, and he should remain a starter for the rest of the season. Looks like he burned all his bridges in Phoenix though.
