This is a pretty hilarious video from last night’s Grizzlies game in Atlanta, where a Hawks fan punked Memphis center Marc Gasol with one of the oldest tricks in the book – the fake high-five. As Gasol went to slap hands with the fan, the Hawks supporter pulled back his offer and made Gasol look silly.
Instead of just taking the loss and continuing on to the locker room, Gasol – obviously displeased with the fan – stopped and attempted to force a handshake out of him, but to no avail.
Although it’s pretty funny to watch, it’s kind of a dick move that the fan continued to refuse a high-five after shaming Gasol the first time. Gasol’s clearly pissed and is going out of his way to interact with you, just be a good sport and give the guy his damn high-five.
And while you’re at it, untuck your shirt out of those jeans. That’s a bad look.
