On Sunday, Gregg Popovich was in Atlanta for a game against the Hawks. However, the trip also gave Pop the chance to reunite with his good buddy/interview sparring partner Craig Sager.
The two met on Sunday morning, much to the delight of Craig Sager Jr.
Sager, who recently returned to work after a battle with cancer, was supposed to help TNT cover March Madness. Due to his doctors’ recommendations, Sager did not suit up for the Tournament, although he appears to be in good health and spirits.

TNT will be broadcasting Spurs games on March 24th, March 31st and April 7th. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some amazing Pop-Sager interviews in the upcoming weeks because they are an irreplaceable part of the NBA at this point.
