LeBron James, once a high school phenom, didn’t go to college…thus, he didn’t play college basketball. But that hasn’t stopped the Ohio State Buckeyes from giving LeBron a locker stall inside their brand new basketball locker room.
Why? Well, they say it’s because James has given so much branded gear to the university that they want to be able to show it to recruits. It also doesn’t hurt to associate King James’ name, arguably the best in the NBA right now, with the Buckeyes program.
LeBron has said in the past that he likely would have attended OSU if he had chosen to play college ball, so I guess this kind of make sense. But, you know, not really.
