LeBron James is the biggest name in basketball and coming off a successful debut as an actor. Now, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward is branching out even more into the world of entertainment.
On Wednesday, LeBron and Warner Bros. announced the formation of a new partnership which will allow James and his SpringHill Entertainment to help develop TV, film and digital media with Warner.
Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara had this to say on the deal:
“LeBron James has one of the most powerful, well-known brands in the world and we are excited to be in business with him and his partner, Maverick Carter, and SpringHill Entertainment. The combination of LeBron’s global media presence and Warner Bros.’ unmatched production and distribution expertise is a big win for fans everywhere.”
While the announcement included no specific projects that LeBron would be working on with Warner Bros., Alex Weprin was able to uncover this little interesting tidbit.
