Wait a second: someone called Lebron James an underdog? The four-time NBA MVP, two-time Finals MVP, nine-time ALL-NBA First Team member is an underdog?
No, never. Not even James thinks so, and we all know how much he loves to feel sorry for himself.
But, seriously, James comes in as a serious underdog this Finals against the surging Warriors. He hasn’t come in as the underdog since he carried the first rendition of the Cavaliers in 2007 on his back. And we all know what happened in 2007 when Cleveland was systematically destroyed by the peak-Tony Parker Spurs.
Who knows though? Maybe it’ll be fun to watch James, the best player in the universe, in all of his glory and not hate him for it.
