LaMelo Ball’s green light is just as big as dad LaVar’s ego.
The former Lithuanian pro and JBA star was balling for his prep school, the SPIRE Institute, when he decided to pull up from halfcourt and take a contested three-pointer that went in.

It’s an impressive shot. However, SPIRE was up 79-61 with 10 seconds to go. Instead of dribbling out the ball and showing some sportsmanship, the youngest Ball bro went for the flashy play. It’s all about him. If I were the other team, or heck, even his team, I’d give him an earful for taking the stupid shot in the first place.
Kudos to Ball for making the halfcourt heave, even if he should never have attempted it in the first place.
